Last weekend I was laying on the beach with slushie drink from wet willies and a focus on blue sky and keeping the sun out of my eyes.
Today I was trudging thrugh slush on my way home from work and listning to portus head on a crowded bus. I like to stare at old people for long periods of time just to see what they'll do.
This weekend I'll be on a road trip with the guys up to a cabin for a little skiing.
I don't know what I'm even doing anymore... but I really likke that you are listening. I think traveling makes it easier to feel like your not standing still... so does anything but being home... how can someone feel stagnet with a world that is spinning twentyfive thousand miles per hour?
What do I suppose I will do to fill the gap between now and friday's trip? No doubt the pile of work I supplied myself with. 4 freelance projects and a 9 to 5... god when it rains it pours eh? I'm sure my mother would tell me there are pleanty of artists starving in Japan. And there always is my secret spy buisness... but if I told you about that I'd have to kill you.
I went to look into another job yesterday. It was not what I'm used to... you never know with this city... It's very unerving to be at the end of a long table filled with people evaluating weather or not your "what they are looking for"... thats so not me. Fuck what buisness guys are looking for. (they sat me right up in the middle of the room, back against the door and everything) and it's funny how the richest companies always want guys like me to work for next to nothing. Or, to work for "oppertunity" as they sometimes like to put it. Yeah well, I treat meetings the same way I treat the beach... I stay away from sharks. (I'd also like to say I stick to doing quality work with quality people no matter what the cost but that ruins my clever pun)
Besides how can I commit to another project right now? I've got tooth picks in my eyes and a smile more yellow than the sky.

1/ Because you write very well, and I can find beauty in your melancholy.
2/ Because I've heard you say this before, and I feel like you'd be bored if you didn't have all of this stuff on your plate.
Let's do something before you leave to go on a roadtrip that you planned after having dissed me and Art when we said we wanted to go on one.
