Today I woke up, took a shower and got dressed. I brushed my teeth, ate breakfast, grabbed my coat and went out the door. I started walking, but I didn't go to 86th street where I normally catch the bus to work... Instead I just started walking south... I walked south until I hit the financial district and then I just kept on going. I walked right past my old apartment in Charleston in a perfectly straight line and before I knew it I was in Miami.
My boss called wondering where I was, I just told her I decided to go sailing instead and hung up the phone... (by this time I was already in the boat sailing south) ...I am sure by now others might be trying to reach me but I'm at the equator now and I am not sure my phone works out here...
You know It really hasnt been that long since we talked from the sunset until it came up on the other side, both agreeing we never felt better, then passing out in each others arms. But now we awake in each others eyes, without wearing a stitch of clothing, both of us very much in disguise, we slowly lose contact more and more each time. And maybe I thought I'd set aside the fact that were broken hearted for an image of being by your side. And if I didnt set aside the fact that weve long departed, who knows where wed be today
