It really is ashame that when you disagree with the writers of the political newswires all they can do is belittle people, call them names and swear at them. It would be nice to get into a serious political debate around here. Unfortunately when you don't agree with them all of the sudden you are stupid and uneducated. People read into your comments instead of just reading them.
It really is ashame and that is why most of us that are conservative stay away from the newswire. It is also why a lot of intelligent people stay away from politics in general. A lot of people come out of college as idealists, like I did, and get into politics thinking what a great service to the country. Then they find out what a bunch of backstabbing low level people that you have to deal with. It has become more about the power and keeping your job than about serving the country.

I should write for the newswire...I mean I take myself every bit as seriously as the columnists, and I have way more interesting things to talk about, such as world domination and how you, and everyone else, are going to help me achieve it.
I actually avoid all the politics news here, because it's just best to ignore FearTheReaper, and I only read the culture columns to point out that the writer needs to find better ways to spend his or her time...
