I got an interesting email today that makes me think that maybe I need to lay low for a while. I have been pretty active recently on the political news. I have been out there putting in my 2 cents and giving the conservative point of view. Obviously my name says it all. I support the war in Iraq and Afghanistan and all the soldiers and contractors over there. Somehow though I said something that someone at the home office thought was racist.
The email said that I said something that was construed as racist and that yes I was being racist. I have no issues with the Iraqi people. In fact I love the Iraqi people. They are a passionate and very verbal people, a lot like me. I had dealings with a group of local Iraqi's on a regular basis. They were allowed on base to do menial work and had to be guarded the whole time they were on base. I was a part of the guard on several occaisions. Frequently enough that we knew each other by sight.
The people I have issues with are radicals, and I have issues with radicals of all races, religions and political groups. I was just having some fun stirring up a little trouble with some members who think very differently from me and apparently someone somewhere got butt hurt. So for a while I will be laying low.
I will be back in time but I don't want to get the boot so I will blog on occasion but I will be staying away from politics.

Well, I don't like to label myself conservative or liberal because I chose my side on each issues based on just that, the individual issue. I can't say I'm always agreeing with one party or the other because then I feel a part of the 'sheeple'.
