I have seen a lot of liberal rhetoric about the war in Iraq. I have commented a lot on what has been written so that there is at least one person on the site countering the rhetoric. Most people just say that I am a conservative mouth piece. Understand that is my name for a reason. I am not a mouthpiece or puking out conservative garbage. I truely believe what I am saying and I don't listen to Rush, or B1 Bob, or Ann Coulter or any of the other conservatives out there. I read, and have been reading for years. I came up with my beliefs on my own. I was never told what to think by my family, I developed my beliefs on my own.
Before I went to Iraq I reread a book from my college years. It was on the Arabs and their culture. I emphasize that the book was on Arabs, not Muslems. So I am not ignorant to the situation. Plus I have been there and I have seen the country first hand. I have been from Baghdad to Mosul. I was not what we call a FOBbit. That means someone who never leaves base. I was on and off base and saw a lot of the country.
ONE THING I WOULD LIKE TO SEE WHAT OUR MEMBERS FROM ISRAEL HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THE SITUATION. WE HERE IN THE US TALK A LOT BUT WHAT DO THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY LIVE THERE IN THE MIDDLE EAST HAVE TO SAY ABOUT IT?

If you haven't stopped reading by now, I have finally made it to Ft Jackson SC. On my way here I made 2 stops: 1. Memphis, 2. Atlanta.
In Memphis I went to see Graceland. I was shocked to find out what a real superstar Elvis really was. Everyone talks about him being the King but I always thought it was just talk. A few facts that they told us was that he bought Graceland when he was 22 for $100,000, that was in 1957. Then when he was draughted he went to serve in the Army with no problems. "Elvis said in an interview that you just do what you have to and when others see you doing the same chores that they do then they accept you. He said when he was there he was just another soldier and that if you try to make yourself different then you stand out and then you are not liked." Also there was a wall of checks, 40 of them and they were all for $1000 each. To me that was an amazing amount. To be able to give away $40,000 in one day in 1962 is just astounding.
Also Elvis gave away cars and houses to people that needed them and the tour also said that he would just pay peoples medical bills. A few other intersting facts:
Elvis made 31 movies.
His comeback tour in 1968 was his first live show in 12 years.
He never did a live show outside of North America.
He is the No. 1 selling artist of all time.
The little facts go on and on and are just astounding. I just really never realized what a huge artist he really was.
I then stopped in Atlanta and went to see the new World of Coca-Cola. As always that is a great experience. I am a huge fan of Coke and would be happy if there was never another soda in the world. The best part of the tour is the tasting room at the end of the tour. All the sodas from around the world were good except for one called Beverly and it is sold in Italy. It has a very bitter taste.

My school is in Chandler on Arizona Ave. It's actually a very well known school through cosmetology land. My time there cannot end soon enough. I don't graduate until the summer of 2008.
