Well it has been a while since I have had a chance to get on the site. When you are using government internet they don't let you on here.
Since I have been here at Ft Sill a lot has happened.
1. This training is a total waste of time. The only thing that people get out of this training is meeting other officers from other parts of the Army.
2. We did some combative trianing and the first day that we rolled live I sprained my knee and was on crutches for a week.
3. Then this is totally a hurry up and wait training. We are the largest group that has ever gone through this training and I am with a very high speed group of trainers and we are ahead of everyone else and then have to sit around and wait for them to catch up. So I have also gotten a lot of reading done.
I read "We Were Soldiers Once, And Young" if you have seen the movie and liked it read the book. The movie ends half way through the book, it is an incredible book.
After writing this I realize that really there has not been a lot that has happened it has just been a long 6 weeks. I still have 2 weeks left here and in that 2 weeks there are really only 3 days of training left, and they are all next week.

Also I am a dumb ass and while I was in the field last week I forgot to call my wife and wish her a happy anniversary. So I got in trouble for that. Since we have been married I have missed the 1st and 3rd anniverseries thanks to the Army.
