"Oh Comely" from In the Aeroplane Over the Sea and tabbed by James Corrigall

E C
Oh Comely, I will be with you when you lose your brain
E C
Chasing the only meaningful memory you thought you had left
E C
With some pretty, bright and bubbly terrible scene that was doing her thing on your chest
E C
But Oh Comely, it isn't as pretty as you'd like to guess
G C
In your memory, you're drunk on your (insert appropriate word here) it doesn't mean anything at all
E C
Oh Comely, all of your friends are all letting you blow
E C
Bristling and ugly, bursting with fruits falling out from the holes
E C
Of some pretty, bright and bubbly friend you could need to say comforting things in your ear
E C
But Oh Comely, there isn't such one friend that you could find here
G C
Standing next to me he's only my enemy I'll crush him with everything I own
E
Say what you want to say and painful your hall (?)
G E C D G D G D E
Always moving your mouth to pull out all your miracle aaaaaaaa, for meeeeeee

E
Your father made fetuses with flesh licking ladies
C
While you and your Mother were asleep in the trailer park
E
Thunderous sparks from the dark of the stadiums
C
The music and medicine you needed for comforting
E
So make all your fat fleshy fingers to moving
C
And block all your silly strings and bend all your notes for me
E
And soft silly music is meaningful magical
C
The movements were beautiful all in your ovaries
E
All of them milking with green, fleshy flowers
C
While powerful pistons were sugary sweet machines
E
Smelling of semen all under the garden
C
Was all you were needing when you still believed in me
E
Say what you want to say and painful your hall (?)
G E C D G D G D E
Always moving your mouth to pull out all your miracle aaaaaaa, for meeeeeeee

E C
Do do do do do do dooooo
E C
Do do do do do do doooooo
E C
Do do do do do do doooooo
E
I know they buried her body with others
C
Her sister and Mother and five hundred families
E
And will she remember me fifty years later
C
I wish I could save her in some sort of time machine
E
Know all your enemies
C
We know who are enemies are
E
Know all your enemies
C
We know who are enemies are

Am E
Na na na na na na na na...
Am E
De de de de de de de de...

Am
Goldening me dear, we will fold and freeze together
E
Far away from her there is sun and spring and green forever
Am
But now we move to feel for ourselves inside some stranger' stomach
E Am E
Place your body there let your skin begin to let itself with maaaaaaaaaaa...
Am E
De de da de da de da da...
(Repeat a few times and end)

"The King of Carrot Flowers Pt. 1" from In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

Inro: F - (Bb - F) - C - Bb

After the those first 6 strums of F, the quick switch occurs: you hit Bb once, then back up to F for 3 or so strums, then to th e C for however many strums. This sounds a lot more like how he does it, IMO. Oh yeah, another lesser change is that I think it actually sounds better if you play the C as a bar chord, so you can have the mute effect.

Verse:

Same as intro, but just leave the Bb - F quick switch out; at least, that=
's how it is on the album, it sounds fine if you leave it in, really.

When it hits (eg, in the 1st verse) "and holy rattlesnakes.." it goes:

C - Bb - F

then it breaks into the Intro again (number of times played varies each t=
ime they do this),
and then back to the verse, and so on.

"King of Carrot Flowers Pts. 2 & 3" from In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

well, this is pretty simple, especially considering it says "(f to c to f
to c)" on the lyric sheet, even though that's not all of the song.

Intro: (before and during the "Jesus Christ I love you" bit)

F (about 10x) C
e------1--------------------------
b--------1-----1-------5-5-----5--
G----2-------2-------5-------5----
D--3-------3-------5-------5------
A---------------------------------
E---------------------------------

something like that...change it around if you want, spice it up. Then it
switches into just plain chord strummin, F to C.

During the trumpet bit it and in the beginnnig of the fuzzed up, fast part of the song, it goes like this

F - Bb

F - C

F - Bb

F - C

the - Bb and - C bits are fast, the last - C get two solid hits

next bit we'll call the verse: ("up and over, we got through the waves..."):

just F - C throught out, strumming varies

repeat chorus/bridge/whatever

repeat verse

repeat chorus/etc.

repeat verse

repeat chorus, end on F

"In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" from In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

"Verse" (i.e., what it starts out with)

G - Em - C - D

"Chorus" (the other part..i think the first bit w/ this is that first tru=
mpet solo)

Em - C - G - D

"Communist Daughter" from In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

here goes: whole thing is just

G - D - C

...semen stained the mountain tops..hmm.
