As far as the motorcycle wreck, I wasn't seriously injured, and the bike is all just cosmetic damage since it went down in dirt/grass. I hit a steel milemarker with my knee, but it is just really tender, but I don't bruise very easily so it looks just a little swolen. My gear saved me, I went down hard on my right shoulder, but my jacket is padded and armored, so it is just sore. My helmet slid across the ground, but not for very long, the majority of the sliding was on my shoulder. The only really shitty thing is my Asus tablet was in my bag, and that hit the pole when I hit it with my side and knee. I'll heal, my bike will probably get "streetfightered", but there is no saving the tablet...
