I was very tired when I wrote that comment.

Think you just have to go with your gut feeling about the landlord. I think how well he comes through on all those repairs for you will be a good indication of what kind of person he is to deal with. If it goes well then I would do the job... it could turn out to be a really good deal.

Landlord a word that means idiot and asshole at the same time. Tell us the band so that we can boycott too. For a boycott to be effective lots of people have to do it. That is so cool that you are moving into your own place. Its fun isn't it?

actually i just described a pretty crazy dream i had in my journal. you're in it. there's your story.

Like chandler, I had a story in my journal (from Monday; the story isn't about me, but anyway here...)

In 1971, Anthony Hopkins tried out for the movie The Girl from Petrovka, and got the role. He took the train to London to scour used book stores for a copy of the novel, by George Fiefer. He found none available. Departing London, in Leicester Square train station, he saw a book next to him on the bench: The Girl from Petrovka.
The cast of the film was working in Vienna two years later, where Feifer joined them. He told Hopkins that he no longer had a copy of his own novel because a friend had misplaced his while travelling in London. Even more vexing, Feifer added, was that he'd put personal annotations in that copy. Surprised, Hopkins handed him the book. Same copy.
