I have now logged 25 hours on Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. eeek

I drank five glasses of water today. That is my average now. That is not enough water, but it's better than how much I used to drink.

Today I ordered a new Dickies bag (in black) and a replacement battery cover for my Gameboy Advance. It's the old display from work (my department manager...

It feels like there are few great writers in our generation.

When our great grandchildren are in college, which of our writers will they be reading?

I have been watching shows about murderers all day long.

I'm playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. I didn't know that you had to equip certain items to learn new skills! That's cheap. Now my characters are like the slow kids that were held back in grade school. They're really big and tough, but they sure don't know a whole lot. I have an excuse, though...

i bought a copy of FFTA that had no instructions either. i'm taking my time with the game tho. making sure each person has around half of their jobs mastered, but then that allows new job to open up so i spend my time on them later on.
seems like i'm going no where in the game, but at least mine are tough as well. i like the humans in it and have them as the most members. the bunny-eared women are cool too, especially when they have the sniper costume.

need to see sin city, gf has seen it and loved it. huh. i haven't went out with her for a long time. were more like financial means to an end nowadays surreal
malkav11:
Meh. While Sin City was clearly a masterpiece of style and the most faithful comic book adaptation I've ever seen....can't say as I liked it. the nihilistic, pointlessly bloody world view really turned me off both the comic books and the movie. At least most noirs have something to say beyond "This is a horrible city."

And The Grudge was considerably more coherent as a singular narrative than Sin City, but yes, it was broken up into interrelated short stories...whereas Sin City was three (four counting that opening sequence) virtually entirely unrelated stories with a couple of cameos.

But yes, The Grudge was considerably worse. See the original movie, Ju-On if you want a real horror movie. (Which would still be inferior in technical quality, but I prefer a malignant supernatural force out to kill everyone to a malignant government out to make life a living hell.)

I lifted a bunch of surround sound systems today. Now I hurt. So tomorrow I am not lifting anything. There shall be a moritorium on lifting of all kinds. Wal-Mart will be lucky if I can manage to lift myself out of bed to come in tomorrow.

Underneath the spoiler warning down there are some snippets from my old Diaryland diary.

devilducky's Playstation2 is getting replaced!

About a month ago, he was playing a game, and while it was loading, there was this loud cracking noise and a spark shot out of it. Now it loads really slowly, games take about twice as long to load as they used to.

I called and told the girl on the other end what was up. She put...

Hee hee, isn't the McGriddle where they put the burger in pancakes/waffles rather than a bun?
Once I hit my target weight, I'll be going back to regular foods, but for now, the McDiet is serving it's purpose smile

So, how did the GRAAAAND OPENINGING go, Wren?

Well, thank you for asking. It was anticlimactic. Really busy in the grocery section but not so much in Electronics. There were a couple of people who flew like bats out of hell to the Toy department when the doors opened. I bet they were pissed when they got there and realized that it wasn't a huge...

have fun. We had an early easter. We went shopping today and a couple of ladies said " Have a blessed Easter" It kinda weirded me out. Dude you with out candy is like me with out make-up. That is awsome that you keep that up. AT least it is fruit and not somthing like liver.

Have you tried these Apples called Pink Ladies? They are some of the best apples ever. I gave up on the shitty red Delicious kind. I also love honey tangarines.

Have a good trip and a good time with your family tongue

For the past two days, I have been working on the setup crew at a new Wal-Mart. I've never worked setup before. My store has been sending associates over there for the past month or so. It was pretty cool to work in a brand-new, clean store with no customers around.

Tomorrow, I am going to help at the GRAAAAND OPENINGINGING. There is going to...

That's some funny shit! I'd love to see you doing that cheer! Gimme a W, Gimme an A . . . . . ha ha

Meeting the President of a huge company isn't all bad . . . . . . maybe he's looking for a "special assistant"! Actually, I understand that Walmart has pretty decent benefits . . so all joking aside, you probably work for a pretty good employer.

And you can bet his hands are softer than yours, at least in recent years.

I didn't mention on the 11th that I got lost on the way to the gynocologist.

Driving in Minneapolis is scary! Did you know there are railroad tracks in the middle of the road there?! I DROVE ON THEM. You are not supposed to drive on them. I did not know they were there, despite the sign that said "DO NOT TURN ONTO TRACKS". I...

I had a job interview in Minneapolis once, and yeah, very confusing and scary. It was somewhere off of Ford Parkway, and the hotel they put me up at was 20 minutes away. I was quite nervous, mostly about the drive...

I use the regualr Super Sculpey, and you're right, just regular acrylic paint. it's real easy to use, and it dries fast...

Thanks for the birthday greeting. smile
