NYC *is* pretty expensive. but it's certainly not too bad, especially coming from a metropolis like LA. most of us folk out here are pretty broke so it's not like you'd have to keep up with our outrageous spending habits if you were out on the town with us, you know?

yes, it is topless. but jumbo's is waay less sleazy than that place. jumbo's had a pretty casual feel to it (to me, at least).. pussycat has a bit more of a creepy feel to it. also, the party we had there was in a part of it that had nothing to do with the stage or dancers.. it was upstairs from all that.

1. 14 years ago, or so. I only got scared when a friend pulled a gun on the guy I was fighting.
2. I'm thinking about dressing up as someone that has a job.
3. Thanksgiving, hands down. It's always at my Aunt Mary Jo's, the whole family is there and, weather depending, there's usually a good game of footbal in the street (that kind of thing still happens in Green Bay).
4. I mostly listen to mixes that I've made myself. If I hadn't loaned it to a friend who subsequently moved, I'd be listening to "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere", by Neil Young.
