I've been home a few days now, and have been getting my Burning man prep done. There is SO much to do still, and I leave for playa on the 26th(I think). I feel kind of strange saying this, but I think I really just want to stay home for a couple of weeks and hang out with my kitties before I take off again....

My mouth hurts so fucking bad right now. I can't chew anything, and both my teeth and jaws HURT. But when this is over I'll have a really nice smile. That'll be worth it. SO worth it.

@ecobuilder I've seen his stuff; it's nice. But it's a lot more than I need. Also I back pack several miles frequently, so it isn't realistic for me. I've got a tent for each half of the year, and a ton of gear for all weather. Small and very simple is what works for me these days.

I thought about it, and in order to protect the (not so) innocent, you are going to have to live with the explanation I provided yesterday for why I left. Telling the whole story would implicate people that cannot defend themselves, and that just isn't my style; it goes against my code of ethics completely.
