i was so shaken to find these pictures on the web, i was moved to tears. i thought you might enjoy the story behind them.

although i was born and raised in california, it's a little known secret that half my heart lives on the east coast, on the shores of a little lake called square pond, in the town of acton, maine. amidst...

Oh wow, I didnt even know that they had a listing in the directory! I left a review! After all, she is the only person I will ever go to anymore for piercings!

Yea, I havent seen you in forever either. I actually moved to the east bay, and now no one ever sees me. Im having a girls night in at my house in January. Check SGSF for the post.

I havent seen Bliss in ages either! How is she doing?
glassheart:
the girls from the last girls night in are planning to make this one crazy. From the looks of the board, it might turn into an orgy. hahah.

Ive been meaning to go see bliss soon. I want a new piercing.

Hope you are doing well. If you can come out, I look forward to seeing you. If not, have a great christmas and new years!

let me preface this by saying: i am not defending the bush administration, nor do i agree with taking these animals off the endagered species list. so go ahead and read the whole comment.

i just want to point out that the proposal will not remove all grizzlies from the list, it will remove only the yellowstone population, and change the management of the population from federal to state control. i personally disagree with this move, and would direct everyone to this (slightly skewed-sounding) report: http://news.fws.gov/NewsReleases/showNews.cfm?newsId=94D4C669-65BF-03E7-2976DE7E49FC04D6
there is an email and a snail-mail adress to which opinons can be directed, so go, everyone, and tell them not to do this.

If I ever got to meet you, I might die of severe heart palpitationslovelove
I've always wanted to go to San Fransicso. My mom always tells me that's one of her mostfavorite places on earth. I was SUPPOSED to take a road trip up there with my roommates when I was living in LA at the beginning of 2004, but they're a bunch of flakes and that never happened.
Sigh.

so you've asked about the heart...

i left the city mid day today (barely missing by 15 minutes the fire on the bridge) to drive up to fairfax. fog clearing behind me, i enjoyed a ride i do rarely these days...after 5 years of working in marin, first at the discovery museum, and then as a nanny, it's odd for weeks to go by when...

random sighting for the day...

at the corner of market and van ness, a 50 something yr. old man with geezer punk rock hair (think 'spinal tap') wearing all black leather and sporting major pock marks on his face, in one hand carrying a shiny silver ghetto blaster playing salsa music (cha cha cha!) at full volume, and in the other a plastic grocery store...

ungh. my heart is worn out. i'm hoping that the last week was my big transition into fall, that time spent standing on the top step looking down at the descent, perched at the end of summer filled with bittersweet sunshine. now perhaps i can begin to walk down, gracefully, with a soft heart.

a big thanks to everyone who responded to my last post....

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll wait at least a year in between college and grad school. I can't do the "constant school" thing!

I'm glad I was encouraging! If you need anybody beaten up or chewed out, let me know!

hello my dears. i'm missing you and apologize for not being around much to check in on your lives. this is a big transition time for me, and i'm definitely still in the middle of it. also, what with the disaster in louisiana and famine and drought in africa, my emotional energy has been redirected towards those in need. i'm sure you all can relate...i...

ok i'm back...my 'puter was broken. but fortunately, my housemate tymm is a GEEEEEnius, and now it be fixed.

my brain is currently being squeezed by the sheer reality of going to grad school (orientation was today, classes start in a week). or rather, the sheer reality of entering a program that i feel iffy about, at best, and knowing that if i follow through,...

i really think that whatever you do, you are going to do great. i know i don't know you well, but i am pretty close to someone who knows you and from what i hear and from what i gather from reading your journal and corresponding with you...you have an amazing soul, you're a good person and you have alot of talents and things to offer the world. everyone is afraid. but what if we only live once? i truly believe everyone should follow their heart in everything they do.

whatever you do will be the right thing. it has to be.

while...
