well, currently i'm waiting to be approved for an apple credit account through juniper.
then i will order a 14" ibook with 1GB SDRAM and 80GB of memory.
that ought to suit me for a while.

the poor baby that i'm typing on now will probably end up at a computer recycling facility so that she doesn't go completely to waste.

i just had a...

my computer has recently developed a bad habit of shutting down whenever it likes. grr! a new set from you would be tops! your mad scientist is one of my favourites. i hear no photographer can resist baked goods.

crapola.

my computer is self-destructing and there's nothing i can do about it. in an attempt to reinstall the OS i've lost half my programs and instead of running better, it's running worse.

NOT TO MENTION the fact that my CD drive is unreliable which makes backing up data a bit of a challenge.

whatever am i to do?

i've developed an eye twitch.

That "eye twitch" is known as a nervous tic.
And be careful...it's usually a prelude to either walking into a public building with a shotgun, or climbing a clock-tower with an assault rifle!! eeek

I know....I've been there. :tic:

It's mostly a matter of portability. The ibook you can take wherever but of course it's a smaller display although you can get a larger monitor you can use when you're at home/office. The processors (speed/memory) are equivalent. Nowadays I think a laptop makes more sense unless you need a super-power machine for some scientific or graphic application you always run at your office.
cheers

over the course of my life, i've decided that i want a tattoo on my face. now before you jump all over me (in a motherly way), let me explain what i have in mind.

what i want is not very big and wil only be on my temples. it's also going to be white. i've got a little bit of white ink already...

I totally get behind you having that tattoo, it sounds like it would suit you really perfectly

Yeah, I've heard its supposed to be a great read aswell. I'm going to order that one as soon as I have the cash to order another stash of books! I thought it would be a good idea to order some alternative poetry - since I'm going to be taking writersclasses this fall and poetry will be covered a lot. I usually don't like poetry, but I'm looking for stuff that isn't all "oh my love has deserted me i want to die". wink

I'm sorta the same way, although it's more to do with my drawin' hand... I get paranoid when I go play basketball cuz I keep thinking I'm gonna jam a finger or something and not be able to draw...
