With less than four weeks until I hit US soil again, the following are the dates for our travels...

Los Angeles 10/23 - 10/27
San Diego 10/27 - 10/31
Las Vegas 10/31 - 11/03
San Francisco 11/03 - 11/06
New York City 11/06 - 11/21

We may look at taking a day trip to Boston, and we'll probably do some adventuring in Jersey.

It looks like we're cutting Chicago and Philadelphia from our itinerary due to financial reasons.

If you caught my last journal entry, I was let go from my job. I've been unemployed for a week now, and getting a temporary job between now and my holiday seems unlikely.

Didn't things change over the weekend.

- I'm no longer employed
- Cherry Trash and Mr Trash will no longer be accompanying us to the US

Tomorrow I'll be updating my resume, and trying to book an appointment at the hair salon. I need to make myself "corporate" presentable again.

I've been spending a good portion of today looking at what places I should visit in the US.

Accommodation, sights.. bla bla bla.

We're considering adding Boston to the list. Lachy really wants to go to Fenway Park. What else is there to check out in Boston?

Thanks for the hugs and kind words folks. As predicted, I feel better.

This week just gone has been very sad and depressing, but I spent the weekend with my man, just relaxing and recouping. I really missed him!

Jar of hugs in the kitchen, help yourself. Sometimes trying to feel better to fast just backfires and makes me sad again. So take your time, and remember you are awesome even when you don't feel like it ok.

Its nice having someone awesome to hang out with, sometimes I feel super shit (quite often for no reason!!) but once I get home and me and my man get to spoon on the couch, everything feels good smile

My weekend was a total write off. Friday evening I got home from work, had some dinner, then had a shower. Within minutes of getting out of the shower I was a mess.

Glad you're feeling better and at home smile Love being home after being in a strange place - hospitals are no fun! And kudos to your nurse/s, so many people work in the healthcare system that just plain old don't give a shit, & are rude. I don't get how you can be a nurse, and not have any people skills...but it happens!! tongue
