I work in a theater and I have been wishing people a Merry Christmas or a Happy Holidays since November 19th. In a good year I have three weeks of "Christmas Cheer" in me. This has not been a good year. I am totally with you. I think it is overrated or at least overvalued as a holiday in the US.
