that's cute. i've been obsessed with this truck for years - subseqently i have received a couple mini-scale models of it already. one was already all bulit - the other i put together about five years ago- you know, the little hobby ones with the millions of pieces... well, it took me a month to put it all together - and then the axle fell off and the whole thing went to pieces. i think the glue was defective.

three - unfinished projects are my forte. whether it is the picture frame made from a hubcap or the clay relief christmas card for my mother, i always start projects and forget to finish them. why? i cannot say. it is not as if i work a full time job, or that i have so many other commitments and responsibilities. it is just that i am too scatterbrained.

I used to know someone named Soraya. She'd said her parents made it up. I think it must be a real name now? What's it from. She was an interesting girl.

hey dia. it's really a name. maybe her parents made it up, but it's a much more common name in both arabic and spanish. i'm pretty sure that in arabic it is a derivitive of Thurayya which specifically means "the Pleiades" - which is a group of 7 stars in the constellation Taurus - and in greek mythology they are the daughters of Atlas. whew.
