Recipe: Hot Tea Toddy
3 oz lemon juice
5 - 6 oz Whiskey (Canadian, Irish, Scotch, Burbon, Rye....whatever you like)
Honey to taste
Hot water
Teabag (whatever your favorite is)
Large mug
Fill your mug halfway with hot water, and steep your teabag in it till it's the strength you like it. Meanwhile, heat the lemon juice in a microwave-safe container for about 1 min. in the microwave. Add honey to about double the strength you like, then add heated lemon juice and stir. Test for sweetness, then add Whiskey. Gently stir. Drink Hot. Pass out and take a nap.
This stuff is good for Colds, Flu, or whenever you're just feeling shitty. It won't cure you, but it sure make enduring it a Hell of alot more fun. (You'll also get the rest you need....whether you want it or not!)
