I wasn't aware Franti had done a movie. From what you saw of the end of it, did it seem like a real didactic, political thing, or more artsy? I'm curious. Last night, I saw OLD BOY, a Korean movie that must go down on my all-time favorites list-- almost the same kind of energy and intensity as Holy Mountain, by Jodorowsky. If you can find it screening where you live, I strongly suggest you check it out-- easily the best movie of the year. Try the Nuart or the theatre on 3rd in S.M.

Well I hope the Mallrats screening went well - any good stories from the Q&A??? Did they mention what's gonna be on the new DVD (I'm actually really hoping for the alternate cut with the original assassination opening in and all the original dialogue but it doesn't look promising)!!! I really wish I could have gone but I think my next big trip will be for Vulgarthon 4... although if they do a Clerks 2 screening for the fans I may come over... I guess I'll see nearer the time!!!
