Circumcision - If you were having a son would you do it?

The national average is about 30 percent. I'm from the midwest where it's most popular, but I'd like to know more opinions.

I don't think I want to do it.

I have a son (and a daughter). I would never do something that personal to my child. This is something i think he has to decide of his own. I think every person has his/her own right over there own body. If he want to do this when he grows up, then go a head. But I cant understand how I could take that decision for him. It is his body.
But it is a custom in some cultures and I would never judge that. Every parent do what they believe is the best for there children.
ke0:
As far as I know the only reason to do it is for religious reasons, and frankly the idea of devoting a child to god b4 they could possibly have any clue as to what that means is presumptuous at the very least. I have never heard of a medical reason for it to b done from any remotely legitimate source. Which just leaves it as child mutilation for the sake of the "norm", no different from things we regularly consider barbaric like foot-binding or the removal of ribs to allow for tighter fitting corsets. I know it's ur kid, but it''s HIS penis

I think most people understand, being pregnant has to take a lot out of you.

The wedding looks like it had to be wonderful!

I love the photos.

I hope everything starts going better.

I would like another degree.
porphyria:
Those wedding photos are adorable. Congrats on both the wedding and the little spawn you're cooking in the oven xp.

I guess that I've been on a small hiatus lately.
I've been in and out of the hospital. I have a few medical issues that are complicating my pregnancy. :\
I meet my high risk dr on the first.
I'm on bed rest, temporarily for now.

I fell in the rain a few days ago. I spent forever in the hospital getting tests and being...

I had a crazy dream last night.
My aunt that passed away 3.5 years ago was in it. I miss her so bad.
I wish she was here to help me make bedding for my baby's room.

Speaking of, does anyone know where I can find baby camo nursery thing?

Sorry for your loss. I lost one of my 14 year olds a year ago..I literally broke down while driving and my future wife had to hold and console me for ten minutes off the side of a highway.

I'm going to assume that your aunt thought the world of you, and I think she was justified. I've been around long enough to recognize young people who will enrich the lives of all those whom they touch. There can never be too many special people who can make the world a better place and I can easily see you carrying on your aunt's legacy. As long as she remains in your heart, her influence will carry on to inspire others. smile
