SO, I think I may be homeless for about 24 days in February.
Yep, just 24 days.
I work here in Denver, my lease is up Jan 31st, and I leave for Israel Feb.24. I don't want to commute an hour and a half every day for work if I were to stay with the rents up north.
Ugh, I don't want to live with... Read More
I was a Red Cross slut tonight! I'm not proud of it, but it was for a good cause. Colada and I were nurses walking around at the benefit/concert collecting donations. It was slightly awkward (?), yes, but given the small crowd it couldnt be helped.
I was told I wasn't SG enough by someone nick named Shitbag (and that he was), apparently I should... Read More
I wish I had something more exciting to blog about other than my sleep study. I have no results to return with, just the experience which was no fun especially with all that gunk they have to put on you to put the wires on. And in your hair! Ugh, that was no fun washing out.
I wish I knew how to upload pics from... Read More
I'm a ....i'm nervous about a damn sleep study! I go in tonight at 8, i'll bring my favorite pillow and hopefully be able to ignore all the wires hooked up to me. On the other hand, it kind of sounds like fun.
Im beginning to go through all the junk in my studio in preparation for moving. Man, do I have alot of crap!... Read More
1) I have TMJ, well have had it for atleast 5 years now, but its to the point where little can be done. I have gotten used to locking/unlocking/popping my jaw hundreds of times a day, to talk, to eat, to kiss, even to just rest my jaw. Surgery on my jaw would be the last resort and would be followed... That cake does sound awesome! Working for free is no fun for sure, and I'm hoping the set gets picked up soon! Also, had no idea about the TMJ, but I hope fixing your sleep helps it get better!
Their are so many moments in my life where I look in the mirror and try to see me, just simply me. I know that sounds odd, but I question who I am and where I want to be in my life, I question myself every time I look in the mirror. Who is that girl? What does every one else see?
I have gone... Read More
You are welcome and yes it seems the women that have come in and out of my life. The ones who were tough on the outside were always easier to love they only rarely let out there soft and gentle sides. you look spectacular, thank you for sharing yourself.
Saw your question in the group, and thought Id give you a personal response given my dated reply (army keeps this boy busy).
Well, Florentine is pretty cool. Its in south Tel Aviv, which used to be a pretty poor and sketchy neighborhood and is still kinda poor and sketchy. Its trying to become something of a hipster central, but the truth is you'll see a lot of the city's day workers living there because its essentially the cheapest place to live in Tel Aviv. It's close to the massive city market where you can get a lot of cheap clothes, supplies and food, as well as the New Central Bus Station, which is why I end up there a lot.
Living there depends on what you're used to. On the one hand, its cheap to live in and full of interesting characters and places to visit. On the other, the area is poor, crowded, dirty and has a high crime rate.
I like it, but Im a rather thuggish character to begin with.
1. I start my internship tomorrow at a local bakery with a master pastry chef that I can barely understand because his accent is so thick.
2. I have a burlesque show on thursday
3. Im so broke I had to borrow money from my parents for this months rent
4. Dance is taking up ALL my free time
But....
I'm still super happy, I... Read More
I remained bored. First I wandered around for like an hour trying to find somewhere that served food. Then I ate some crappy pizza and suffered through "war stories" of the former fratboys sitting next to me.
Denver sucks on Thanksgiving night. I either should have planned better or stayed in the Springs.
