to answer your question... i gave up the lifestyle because i began to realize that a whole lot of people were going out of their way to accommodate me. they did not complain, but i really started to dislike being "special." also, i realized that what i was really trying to accomplish could be done on an omnivore's diet with a bit of being selective about what i ate. now? now i just eat practically whatever comes in front of me, and live with the guilt, but at least i am still aware.
