I'm going to apply for a new job today... I'll be doiong at least on interview today. I really hope I get this job, if I do I wont be working in the restaraunt anymore and I'll be moving to the Portland area. Also Benefits, and higher pay.

I suppose it's the fact that upon meeting these members of your 'extended' family, you're supposed to feel some sort of re-connection with them if you knew them in the past, or you're supposed to feel comfortable around them if they're your cousins/uncles/aunts/nieces/nephews from way back when.
As for work, I can relate. I've been working a lot myself. Even on this past holiday. Anything for the overtime though.
