Colin and I are looking for a new place. We want a bigger apartment that is equally as nice as what we have now. Found a few places we are going to check out Saturday but I am really thinking we should move towards London. I am kinda over Manchester. It just isnt a big enough city for me. Decisions, decisions...
casca:
You should totally move to London if you like big cities. If I won the lottery or something I would move there smile

I'm giving living here in England til July.. if I dont see anything get better or a reason to be here I will be on the next flight back to Philadelphia with my cats and never come back here again. Moving to the UK was the biggest mistake I have ever made.

Good to hear your settling in. I'm good thank you, although I think I sneezed and missed the summer whatever too short!.
What do you notice as the main differences in UK & USA? Whats better/worse? (dont worry, I wont be offended, haha).
I went to america for 2 weeks when I was about 11. everything was so much bigger and cleaner cut (Kissemee?? I think thats where we stayed, probs spelled wrong :/ )
Cause it was a 'disney land' kinda trip I guess I didnt see 'proper america' but the mian thing I noticed was how much wider the roads are. Country lanes here are horrible! Diners are a lot better & cheaper where we stayed in america too & the supermarkets there sold EVERYTHING, heh, and they're massive!
(Again, didnt venture far so might just be down to that). and randomly, anything watermelon scented or flavoured reminds me of being in America biggrin haha, such a niiice smell.

Aww, cute cat! biggrin xox

Blahhhh... the water in my apartment building has been off for 3 days now! The main pipe that runs through the car park broke and they are just now fixing it today mad I feel so gross. I went to Colin's mom's house lastnight and showered which was good. This building is brand new. The apartments are considered "luxury" and modern so why are we dealing...
