I completely understand, I think that's wonderful that happened for you...he used to come into the video store that I worked in all the time back in the day and so did Kurt and Courtney...in fact, their late fees paid for a huge amount of new inventory-no joke! I saw them when they first started out...we would drive down to Oly and see them in basement clubs in Seattle...I think the cheapest we ever paid was...FREE! It was at someone's house party. We thought the best kept secret in the world was playing on stage in front of us in Seattle and wouldn't it be funny if they ever made it big, ha ha ha haa....

Everything you wrote makes complete sense to me. There is nothing wrong with not being able to engage in small talk. We've met twice now, and i haven't been able to say much, in addition to not being able to make small talk i cannot deal with groups of people. I sometimes hate myself for it, but then it occurs to me that for the most part language is used for pointless chit chat, so no loss really.
