Hmmm.....not much to say today. Cleaned the house. I felt really sick to my tummy today.
Oh well. How's Jill?
Today I went thrifting again (if I keep the pace up I might get a 2nd hand intervention
) Rob woke me up this mornin to tell me that he was leaving for work. When I said that he should just stay home with me (like I do ever day...I know...real supportive huh?), he said, "...okay." It took him like 10 minutes to convince me...

Did you go to the Zoopa's near REI? On Strander Blvd? If it is, I've been there! haha My cousins lived near there, so that was our meet-up location a few times
I don't have a job, so nope, no 'almost got caught stories' from me
I'm boring

Well, Yakima was an experience.....wow.
The trip was short, but just to give you a "feel" for the trip, let me set the scene...
You are driving along a very nice, well maintained highway.....in the middle of NOWHERE!!!!! I mean brush, dead grass, and dirt. Maybe the occasional bug splatting into your windshield.....that's it.
So you drive through this lovely, and very consistent might I...

Today was a good day... After Rob came home from work, we went grocery shopping at Marlene's. It was a lot of fun. However, with only two bags to show for our spree, the bill was $102...yikes.
We're taking a road trip tomorrow to Yakima to visit family. It should be fun. I've never been to Yakima. The drive is around 3 hours, but I...

I lived in Yakima for most of my life and the best memory I have from that place was moving away from it, but I do hope yo have a pleasant time there. Hopefully Yakima has changed for the better.
Went thrift store shopping today in Tacoma. I hit Muse and Glenna's and a few others. I must say I did quite well...I got:
*A scarf that is olive green and reminds me of 70's carpet...
*A wallet made out of nude photographs
*An old jacket with just a company logo on it.
*A hanky and a silk bandana
Yay for thrift stores! I also...

Just went to get Rob at the airport. The drive was super fast...I ended up not doin' much but cleaning this morning, but it was nice to get it all done. I went to Costco with mom yesterday, and then we went to the Olive Garden for dinner.
Does anyone else HATE the Olive Garden besides me?! It's like the McDonalds of the Italian world...*sigh*...

I'm gonna have to say that I don't HATE Olive Garden, but it's definately not my favorite kind of Italian food to get around here. Last time I went to Olive Garden was in Oregon 2 1/2 months ago and that was during the time that I lost my apetite for a week, so I didn't really anything anyway.
Hope you're having a good day

Yesterday was one of those days that wan't good, and wasn't shitty, but instead was just.....there. I just basically hung out, did laundry, watched Girl Interrupted, and ran on the eliptical machine for like 45min. I NEVER work out, but I had all this energy, and nothing to do with it....
I went to Janet's today. We chatted about how my family has issues and...

I'm gonna have to. I am about the healthiest sick person you'll ever meet.
Blood tests, urine, bloodpressure, weight gain - immaculate.
I'm afraid the problem is upstairs.
You know what really sucks, all the bs of this head-stuff smacks of cruel irony. I'm not a timid person by nature. I probably would have been half-way around the world and back if not for this stuff.
It is just amazing in what capacity this stuff will strike.
good luck with your Doc and your meds.

Hmm....went out to my parents house for the night. I just couldn't stay at home by muself last night for some reason. I drove over there and wow! You don't realize how pathetic a small, narrow-minded town is until you leave I guess. It was so weird to drive around and see all these rednecks with gun racks in their chevys. Two years ago I...

hiya! i use the medium-firm & firm tub stuff, not the silk stuff. i use this recipe with tweaks to flavor:
1 serving:
4oz med-firm tofu
sprinkle w/ & mix in 1tbsp nutritional yeast
in another bowl, mix 1tbsp water, 1tsp soy sauce, 1/8tps tumeric, 1/8tsp onion powder, dash garlic. then mix with tofu.
cook in skillet like scrambled eggs til it's the consistancy you like.
weird looking, but tastey.

1st. Bless you. anytime i hear of somebody who strays from the right wing, NRA, Pro-life, Bush Camp, i am reminded that there is hope.
2nd. The word panic attack is so vague. Has nausea ever comprised any of your panic attacks?
If this is too personal, no prob.

Hello,
Not much is going on around here. Rob is gone on a buisness trip until Wednesday, so I am kinda on my own for the week. I think I am going to go thrift store shopping, but can't decide if I should head to Seattle or Tacoma. I figure I can just get in my car and go...lol.

Interesting. My therapist recommended the latter two books of the three you mentioned in the Intoverts group. I may have to hop over to the library at some point this week.
Yout journal entry is also interesting...
I have mild anxiety around new people and crowds sometimes, but nowhere near what I used to deal with. I did the sitting-at-home-in-the-dark-for-weeks-at-a-time thing quite a bit for years, and still have to fight the desire to cocoon myself at home and avoid people. Woo-hoo. It's treatable, though; the fact that you want to work through it, and your seeking therapy are two really good signs.

In late July, officials reportedly made a gruesome discovery: Rotting in the Hallsboro yard of Jonathan Ward, 20, were the remains of one of his three dogs, according to news sources. Apparently, two other emaciated animals were rushed to receive medical care. It is believed that Ward had abandoned the dogs up to three weeks earlier without any food or water....

Last year, Dow Chemical Company planned to use 1,350 animals to retest two chemicals in the EPAs high production volume (HPV) chemical-testing program, even though the same hazard information was already available for both chemicals. Even more incomprehensible was the fact that the two chemicals were not even part of the HPV program (see http://www.epa.gov/chemrtk/adpods/c14165pm.htm and http://www.peta.org/alert/automation/AlertItem.asp?id=748)! Dow ignored the animal-protection...
