In the last few hours,

-the cumin fell while I was making food, half of it dumping out all over the floor
-the dishwasher detergent went the way of the cumin
-I vacuumed up the mess, but the vacuum reeked of burning plastic
-I switched the attachment. All was good, until the tubing tore.
-But not before I knocked over a glass of water
-I...

I'm worried about my poor nipples. They've been pierced...

All weekend, my computer couldn't seem to find this page. I know it worked for others.. so I tried a bunch of things, deleting tmp files, disabling the firewall, etc etc.... nothin'. Then today, I go buy food, and when I come back - it works. surreal

The secret, is not to try. wink

The first machine I ever used in a gym was the treadmill. It freakin sucked. I was exhausted and crampy after 15 minutes at 5.2 mph. mad And at this point I was already in pretty good shape... I mean, I'd been roller blading every day before that, then it got cold and I resorted to indoor activities.
Anyway, I moved on to other machines, and...

Technology....Hmmmmm....it is quite amazing that we all have become so dependant upon the "modern" wonders...it is a pity that souls do not close their eyes and use the most wonderful technology of all...oh well...at least the soup wounds have healed. smile
luckylee:
I completely agree with everything you say about technology. I love it and hate it at the same time. It totally rules our life, but at the same time makes it easier to live. I think society is just getting lazy as the years go by. I hope I don't fall into that rut... or perhaps I already have.... damn, that's sobering.

Saw Ritchie Hawtin - great music, and I didn't fall asleep. tongue I didn't make it to 6am though... I left around four, around the middle of his set. It was good, but not worth falling asleep in a bar. wink

I regularily leave my keys by my door, and just grab 'em on the way out. The genius that I am, I figured I couldn't possibly...

Yeah, the temperature's about to drop here as well. Seems like you Canadians just get a land of ice at this time of year while we Brits get a land of alternating freezing cold and pouring rain (or, often, both frown ). Hope you had a good 'un. smile
angelfuck13:
Make an extra set, and give them to a trusted nieghbor or friend. I traded keys w/ my nieghbor- it works we save her regularly from her locking herself out of the house.

Going to see Richie Hawtin playing as Plastikman tonight at Surface. Should be great music, with great friends, at a club I've been meaning to check out for awhile now. I can't wait! biggrin

Only problem is that it runs from 10pm-6am. Now.. I'm notorious for being fine one minute, and then being asleep the next, usually by 3 or so. What can I say, I'm...

Work is so exhausting! Seems like I only get a few hours to myself each day. I love it though, I'm learning so much.... I'm the only member on my lil project, and no one there knows what it does, so I learn through trial and error. Frustrating, though, damn java servlets. Gr. tongue

Ugh, so drained.
I've done nothing all day but sleep and watch movies. Ah, Sunday.

Caveman's Valentine - meh. Kinda neat description of how an insane man might see life... but over all, lame.

Wonderland - entertaining, but predictable and deffinitly not memorable.

I start my new job tomorrow. I couldn't get ahold of my supervisor, so I have no idea what time I start,...

New Years Eve was pretty low key - which was a change. Drank a little too much, but hey, it was New Years! wink My only regret was falling asleep so early... i have become so addicted to olives lately, not really sure why. they are just so good biggrin

i don't really have any resolutions this year, cause no one ever seems to keep them. plus this new years didn't really feel like a new year to me, i'm not really sure why.

oh btw, do you like doormouse or cylob? i just think you might dig both of those.

and how is the cs stuff going? i'm actually going to graduate this spring, but with a degree in music.

Well, if I spent less time goofing around online then I wouldn't be here, right? confused The truth is this - last year I resolved to learn all the words to "88 Lines about 44 Women." I listened to the song a fair amount, but failed to do so.
I see no reason to move on to a new new year's resolution until I finish this one.
