I'd love a proper beach like that. Being fair, I'm not that far away from Bournemouth, so I should go. A claret and blue bikini would be awesome. But those are just football (soccer) colours. And not for me!

I loved The Con. It took a lot of getting into, but I did. I'm seeing them in August with Super.
we went swimming again tonight. it's possibly my favourite part of the day. we go every day or two. we walk to the pool and feel a bit nervous. there's always the worry that the pool will be too cold; the air is usually 18C by the time we swim, and it feels chilly in comparison to the 29C high of the afternoon.
i had a smashing day out with my #1 san diego lady, kate. last night we were looking for something to do and we stumbled upon a theatre listing: adam's rib, one of my favourite movies, was playing this afternoon at a beautiful restored theatre in an awesome part of town. we dressed up fancy like it was a date and it was so... it's 10 am and i've been up for two hours. this is an awesome step for me! i love being up early but can never manage it. granted, i haven't done anything today except cuddle my cat, wash my face and look up ghost stories and whatnot (do you guys remember the winchester house?) but then i was a ghosty little kid; i devoured... ♥ today uproot and i had our first session docenting at childens pool in la jolla for la jolla friends of the seals. i can't believe that people are so against the seals living there!! a philanthropist donatied money in 1931 for the small beach to be made into a better place for childern to swim, and that pushed the seals out... Ohhhh no, I'm actually very reluctant to have babies at all... and if/when I do decide to have kids my first choice would be to adopt. This is, of course, once I'm financially stable enough to do so and with a partner who wants to. I don't think I could make it through that on my own. All this is why it strikes me as odd that upon seeing that picture I feel this slight desire for that kind of life.
♥ i sure had fun doing that analog entry! i will be sure to do it again in the future.
♥ if you are a regular reader, you will know i am totally enamoured of middle english. it will not surprise you, with my delight in captioned cat photos, that i love cat town. see the combination of the two... Read More
well, if I go ahead with it, it will be a partial sleeve, of an oriental tiger. As you know, I'm big into kitties, all my life, plus I"m a Leo. yup!! We'll see. I look upon it as an investment, and you pay for quality work.
yes. yes. yes. i'm going to check out your flickr. very nice entry. sounds like good stuff, and i wish all the best luck on your work in film. have fun. i love my fujifilm dslr. i just picked the camera with the biggest screen on the back, but it turned out to be really nice. i'll be sending post soon. so all eyes out. and i've been pretty successful at keeping myself busy so far. i definately don't have a shortage of books to keep me interested and applying myself.
there are a couple new additions to the list of why my downstairs neighbour, don, is totally bizarre. sorry if you guys have read some of this before; he is just too wierd not to put it all out at once.
i made it back from san francisco in one piece! it took wayyyy too long to get there (almost 12 hours!) for whatever reason. i guess because we had to make a lot of stops but yuckfest. that is too long!
we stayed across the bay from s.f. on a converted houseboat on stilts over a marsh. it was SO cool. to get there you... Read More
Portland is pretty fucking cool. Although I am impartial to coffee and there are delicious coffee shops everywhere in Seattle, so I am torn. The rose garden was real purdy and they had a huge japanese garden there too. We went to a german restaurant and then off to Union Jacks where we proceeded to hand over stacks of dollars to the hot ladies. I do have to say that the weather in these states is just right for me.
