In 2014 I cried for weeks after 1st watching the situation crumble. Now local Ukrainian internet is blocked from much of the real time reports we got back then. I fault the entire world for placing capitalistic and imperialistic greed above human compassion and suffering. We should’ve trounced Putin then, but no, bigger wheat and oil deals mattered more than putting Putin in a box. I’m livid at those who blithely say “so what are you going to do about it?” Anyone who has profited from Putin’s insane ire has innocent blood on their hands… and believe me I know plenty RU ex-pats here in US. doing just that!
