I drove across the country two years ago; drove all the way to Vancouver from Philadelphia. We went on up to Whistler; it was beautiful in July.

I'm in love with the rich men
I'm in love with their greediness
I'm in love from a distance
I'm the game in my childish head
I want to see, like the serpent

Dark Elf Trilogy is an interesting series. Basically it is a Forgotten Realms book, so it's not lengthy by any means, nor is the reading level much above middle school level...but the books excel in really two areas: The author's ability to, in complete and beautiful detail, describe a fight scene (which there are plenty of opportunities to do). This probably comes from his D&D background, but no other author comes close to matching his accuracy. Also, his characterization is downright superb. The main character is probably one of my favorite characters in all literature, and he is beautifully and lovingly created and even stays true to his nature.

R.A Salvatore has many other books, even some with the same character, that just don't match the quality that Dark Elf had...and I would strongly suggest reading those three books, and then stopping. smile The series continues for like 5 more books, but it's pretty normal, generic, stuff.

You know what website I love? http://www.explodingdog.com

the drawings are so simple yet profound in a twisted sort of way. It's amazing how someone can draw such simple stick people but have them be so expressive. I find that people either think these drawings are creative genius, or that they are kinda funny but nothing special. Here are a couple of my favorite ones...

Today, as I was walking home from school I decided to open my umbrella to protect myself from the icky icky rain. A huge gust of wind came along and blew my welfare umbrella out of my hands and down the street. I desperately chased after my umbrella for two and a half whole blocks until it hit the side of a dumpster, and I...
