My dog used to get bummed out when he saw my travel bag come out of the closet. He’d lay by it & would sleep right next to my side of the bed all night as I usually had an early flight. I miss him all the time still🥰

Unfortunately, my big boy Orion, who's never experienced me not working form home, watches me out the windows by the doors... then uses the door trim as a scratching post, his signal that he's bored.  So he's utterly destroyed 4 pieces of trim that need to be replace.  But not until I figure out how to curb this behavior.
