i have been. i intern at a nightclub and most of the bartenders hook me up. and my boss was out of town last week, so the old sound engineer - a 20 year old punk rock kid - was filling in for him. That was a bad environment cuz i was drinking every night and sunday i got high with a bunch of the staff in the office and yeah... it was getting all a bit out of hand. and now whenever i feel down i just want to start drinking. the only thing that really stops me is better judgement and knowing it will draw attention.

i'm a firm believer that you need to love yourself for somebody else to love you. I just don't think it's healthy to be with someone if you can't trust your own sense of self worth. I think the right person (not to imply that i believe there's only one such person) will make you feel like you're worth loving and it won't even cross your mind to question it. But i'm an idealist. And i've been single for a long time.

I know. I love it when that happens, though I suffer from impatience and have to try avoid the urge of just jumping in head first and doing too much too soon, which is pretty important in this situation because the last thing I need is to get sicker again and end back at square one.
