Jury duty all last week. UGH

Burning Man prep this week. I leave on Sunday.

Like always on the week prior to BM, I scrambling to get ready. I think I'm doing pretty well though. The biggest uncertainty is the shade structure. Which today I'm going to go through and make sure all of the parts are at least there.

I bought a new digital camera.

Then I sent it back cause it was a piece of crap. Well, actually, I don't know if it really was as I only took a couple of shots. But, it felt cheap. Like a disposable. For those of you who care, it was a Samsung Digimax A503 5MP in Black. Don't get it.

I've played with that camera. It is decent. DEFINITELY better than the samsung.
The higher end sony's have all the features most people need and then some. I doubt you'll regret buying it. Other than it not being a canon, the only thing I don't like about sony's is that they don't use CompactFlash memory cards, which are larger and cheaper.


In general, unless you don't really care, stick with the "big name brands."

Oh man it's hot. I love the heat, but hate that I'm not swimming. We're going to Mt. Hamilton this Sunday for the annual i-club Subaru Car-B-Q meet. It's estimated that about 350 people are going. I know that doesn't mean 350 subarus, but it's going to be a lot of them. The majority of them imprezas. Fun.

Laaaaazy Sunday. I love it.

Went to breakfast at Boogaloos, then had a gibraltor at Ritual. At around 12 we decided that to go have a picnic in my favorite picnic spot ever, the Mountain View cemetery in Oakland. We stopped at whole foods, picked up some snacks and then headed over. Traffic was a breeze and the new car was fun to ride in....
