Vegas was fun. I discovered I love roulette.
But, my back left wisdom tooth got infected the night before we left (I've been waiting to get it pulled and have had a dentist appointment scheduled for the 10th since a couple of weeks ago) and now that side of my face is huge and swollen. Not to mention, it hurts. Ugh.

VEGAS baby. We leave on Tuesday. Yup, flying on Halloween. I've only done it once before, but I remember it being pretty fun. Stewards, err sorry, Flight Attendants, were sort of dressed up. Most were just in a spirited mood, which made the trip more eventful.

A couple of weeks ago I made a white bean (navy and canellini) soup with mustard greens and chicken apple "soysage" that turned out really good too. It's been soup weather for sure. Especially since I've been sick lately.

I bought this white bean soup mix the other day, i forgot to check the label, and it had chicken bits in it. 
i was so disappointed because otherwise it was really good.
Ministrone is good too, though it's hard to find a good one w/o any meat-flavoring.
