Man. Was that pathetic or what? By the end of my second week with the kids I get to jonesing hard for the adult conversation thing.

This weekend was a no-kids weekend, so I am much more relaxed now. Played with fire. Flirted a little. Won $50 at poker. Deep breath . . . . aaahhhhhhh.

Now the kids are back for another two weeks. We return to the regularly scheduled lack of a life. Not that I'm actually complaining, mind you. I wouldn't have it any other way. Still, a touch of whining is allowed when it comes to missing out on the fun.
