I know, people don't like people they perceive to be better off than themselves. At least you are aware that you're sensitive and there is nothing wrong with being sensitive. Ignore them as they prey on the sensitive to release their anger and frustration.
Just do your stuff and don't take any notice. You're a good person, aware, intelligent and confident and with better things to do than worry about these people.
Be happy and don't be hard on yourself, you don't need to listen to everyone and not everyone is right anyway.

The beginning of the New Year is always kind of a drag (at least for me).
I usually just try and hibernate until spring.
This time of year is called "the dead of winter"...for good reason too.
