I wouldn't worry about the destination right now anyways, we are too young to truly know that. I graduated higt school but a college drop out. But I read books by john locke, friedrich nietzsche, and many others, not to pass classes but because I want to know more and I couldn't do that with someonelse telling me what they meant. True knowledge is what I'm after... no true enlightment. I want to be different than my crankster brother ( with a girl he doesn't like but there because he has a child with her and they are both on drugs) or my sister, whoes selfperception is majorly distorted ( she has two children with the same guy who wants nothing more than to please himself, working as little as posible and get high as often as possible). Don't get me wrong I love my Two neices and nephew more than anything in the world. They are all the more reason I want to know, so that I may pass this knowledge/enlightment on to them. As to weather or not I'll leave a mark, hopefully they will be it, and my unconceived children too. i want to write a book that is a reflection of my motivations and desires that leads to this information I seek but frist I must find it on my own. No college professors telling me what they mean, just me finding the anwsers to my own problems, here in the present.

Thanks for the comment. I love Athens as a diversion from the dreary ATL life. I used to get up there with my old company and train some staff at UGA...I'd roll up and hang out, but you don't actually know me, and you;re swamped with school.
That said, I can understand the isolations, so drop a line whenever.

I think the next country we attack will be Syria.

on a completely unrelated note...

something just occurred to me. last night while at happy hour(s) with some friends, someone started telling a story about someone named marla. i consistently kept referring to her as marlowe. this happened like 4 or 5 times, even after the storyteller said, "marlA" with a stress on the A sound and things like "with a fucking A, not an O".

maybe you were in my subconscious, marlowe, and that's why i couldn't, for the life of me, get marla's fucking name right. that's the only plausible explanation, right?
