I am not sure, the dreads I wear are tie in falls, so I change them at will. For actual braiding in I am not 100% sure, I think you most likely could. I had at one point made some double ones and had a girl at school cornrow my hair and then we just sewed the dreads in. I did not keep them long though because they looked too ethnic on me. I looked like I was trying to be something I'm not. It was because I bought "dread hair" which has a really tight kinky texture and so the dreads were really light weight and nice but just too "fro" looking. At any rate, good luck hope I could offer a tiny bit of help.

Well, as always, I'm back.
From mother's day to random shows, I've been trying to keep myself busy. Grades just came back and I got 3 A's and B. I'm slightly mad since I thought I was going to get all A's this semester. Alas, at least it will bring up my GPA some (which really needed this boost).

I didn't ever smoke too hard. And thank god cause quitting still sucked. Oh, right. Supportive... Uhmmm.. my dad got addicted to cough drops to replacecigs... I just... uhm... STOPPED. Kinda like how I got "clean". I just stopped, dealt with withdrawal (and my friends didn't even notice the nic withdrawal, either cause I'm so good or they don't care, one of the two.), and moved on. Not really fun, but I'm off. Now I just have to get this bottle of Jack off my desk and I'll be straight edge! Whoo! [/sarcasm]. ...... Y'know, I think I know exactly how to get that bottle off my desk

Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I've been really over-critical on myself a lot lately. I luckly have a few friends who kick the shit out of me if I stay this way too long. Honestly, I say, do whatever you want. I happen to enjoy seeing that little beacon(sp?) of uniqueness when I happen to drop by the dining hall. Either way, you're going to stand out because you are unique whether or not you want to admit it. I wouldn't worry too much about it. Nothing wrong with being an awkward dorky kid. I dont' mind being one so much.
