Maybe we should get dan rather to launch an investigation cause no SG's are talking. I guess I'm kinda happy there is no 'offical' suicide boys......

Quick quick post, because I'm not on my computer!

I'll be @ the big Fan Expo (CNAnime, SFX, Comic Book Expo, Festival of Fear, & Gaming Expo) this whoooole weekend. So come stop by my booth, I'm working for Anime Pavilion during all vendor hours.

A few more questions, then an update on other shit....yarrrr.....

Is there a fictional character (or characters, perhaps) that you can identify with?

From time to time I find that I identify with a character in a show or movie, but I don't think that I have one that's been ongoing. (I'll let you know when I see you next RadioFrank)

... what else...

Well.. I dunno. Don't take my story literally or anything but sometimes you just have to go.

I know that lately I'm a little crabby about financial stuff, but I've been at the bottom rungs for like almost 4 years with only intermittent security. I'm not at a point where I'm finally moving up, but I'm a little impatient at this point.

I moved to Toronto with nothing pretty much. I ended up couch-surfing at a friend's place for almost a year (boy were those trying times). Turns out he became one of my best friends eventually so it is pretty cool. We talk about it like the good ol days now.

However, I was in college at the time. Had no job and only a student loan that didn't even cover all my tuition, let alone living expenses. I managed to make some money selling stuff and bugging what family I had left for some spare change. Eventually got a part time job and moved into my own apartment with a room-mate.. and have just been working up from there.

Okay - my questions keep getting you down. Or they seem to, so I'll try to stop, at least for now.

V8 juice is horrible. Truly vile.

Wish I could offer you some great advice or words of wisdom about your situation. I live about 5 times further away from Toronto than you do, and I don't have a car of my own, so travel there is very rare. But I understand the appeal of being in Toronto, especially now I'm meeting all these great people who live there. I'm on disability, so I don't have any money, or prospects of getting more money. So I understand feeling trapped both financially and geographically.

I would say that maybe righjt now you need to take any job you can, even if there's no chance of advancement. If only to keep the bills paid. Without trying to sound condescending, you're still young, so you have plenty of time to find a career.

Like I said, I wish I could offer you some brilliant advice.

Question answering time...get excited tongue

I'm convinced you came into my work to hand in a resume a while back...but I'm not sure...
I thought you were from Toronto - so I don't think it WAS you - but if not - you have a twin. Could it have been you?

It could have possibly been me since I live near Stoney Creek. Where do you...

Okay neighbors from the North. In one week I'm travelling to Dorset, specifically Lake Kawagama for days on end of mountain biking. What else is there to do? If nothing, I'll just keep pedaling.

Makes me glad I'm a musician smile

I don't have any questions at the moment.

I have come to the conclusion that spending time with the new Ikea catalogue makes me happy. I think that I'm going to start cutting stuff out of there and make my dream room on construction paper. Just like kindergarten, but with a more practical use.

Did anyone notice that you can...

I hope you feel better darling. I love IKEA. Even though I'm not moving until next year I've been on their site a lot drooling over pretty furniture.

I hope you feel better soon!

Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are both great films!

I deserve some rather lengthy, quality sleep....right after I pick up the car from the shop.
The car is broken again, but really, I could care less at the moment. smile

I've finally gotten around to editing the few pics that I took on Monday night! I've been working at a stupid temp job for the past couple days, and losing a lot of sleep. The job is over, and I'm soooo glad too. Next karaoke night I won't have to duck out early (I hope *crosses fingers*)

I got to meet the beautiful Dusti &...

Your gentle voice I hear
Your words echo inside me
You said You long for me
and that you love me
And I want to see you too
feels just like I'm falling
Is there nothing I can do
wonder if you hear my calling

Very nice set of lyrics.

So this afternoon I had one of those mush-tastic dreams. One of those ones where all that seems to be missing is the white doves and Disney castle. Everything was perfect until I woke up...and 4:30pm. Now I'm all overly uncomfortable from the heat, and all alone (excluding the cats).

I guess that it's time for some WoW. I'm going to need an intervention one...

WoW is like really evil coffee....so is CoV or Matrix Online. Hell..I need an intervention too! We need a support group.

Bummer about the bills. Just make sure you save enough to pay your monthly online subscription fee to play. biggrin

I'll spread the word to my model friends your selling stuff..see if we can round up some support for you.
