SG Burlesque tonight! I'm flying solo *again*....*grumble*
I'm in the middle of dying my hair..then I'll be doing other random things to get ready including the 20 minute arguement that I'll be having with my closet over what to wear.
It's sooo cold today! I hope that I'm warm enough tonight. I lack an autumn coat, so I might just end up wearing my huge... Read More
halloween's my favorite day of the year. dark, morbid and scary things are mainstream and its right in the middle of autumn, when its getting cold, days are short, and everythings dying .
god, then its time for the world to turn hardcore catholic for christmas
Apparently I heal like Wolverine. The swelling has gone and it only hurts a little now. But, to be on the safe side I'll get it checked when I get back Canada side.
The first day of work has left me with a rather nasty headache. Being under those bright department store lights all day....whew! Today was just orientation, so I spent most of the day in the training room reading and signing my name a million times.
Tonight and tomorrow are going to suck the big one.
Tomorrow we are having (not by choice) new windows and... Read More
Nobuo Uematsu and Takenobu Mitsuyoshi in Toronto...oh I want to go so badly! I've never been to see an orchestra before either. (click the link, I'm sure most of you will *groan*)
I got a nice call from my Mitzi this evening If you're all wondering where she's been, she was away for the summer and couldn't access SG. I missed her!

i have it in white, my friend has the black one, it shows finger smudges really bad, so id say go for le pink.

thank you muchly for talking to me at kareoke, and for just being nice in general, its much appreciated.
hopefully i shall see you again sometime soon.
I'll be @ the big Fan Expo (CNAnime, SFX, Comic Book Expo, Festival of Fear, & Gaming Expo) this whoooole weekend. So come stop by my booth, I'm working for Anime Pavilion during all vendor hours.
A few more questions, then an update on other shit....yarrrr.....
Is there a fictional character (or characters, perhaps) that you can identify with?
From time to time I find that I identify with a character in a show or movie, but I don't think that I have one that's been ongoing. (I'll let you know when I see you next RadioFrank)
Well.. I dunno. Don't take my story literally or anything but sometimes you just have to go.
I know that lately I'm a little crabby about financial stuff, but I've been at the bottom rungs for like almost 4 years with only intermittent security. I'm not at a point where I'm finally moving up, but I'm a little impatient at this point.
I moved to Toronto with nothing pretty much. I ended up couch-surfing at a friend's place for almost a year (boy were those trying times). Turns out he became one of my best friends eventually so it is pretty cool. We talk about it like the good ol days now.
However, I was in college at the time. Had no job and only a student loan that didn't even cover all my tuition, let alone living expenses. I managed to make some money selling stuff and bugging what family I had left for some spare change. Eventually got a part time job and moved into my own apartment with a room-mate.. and have just been working up from there.
Okay - my questions keep getting you down. Or they seem to, so I'll try to stop, at least for now.
V8 juice is horrible. Truly vile.
Wish I could offer you some great advice or words of wisdom about your situation. I live about 5 times further away from Toronto than you do, and I don't have a car of my own, so travel there is very rare. But I understand the appeal of being in Toronto, especially now I'm meeting all these great people who live there. I'm on disability, so I don't have any money, or prospects of getting more money. So I understand feeling trapped both financially and geographically.
I would say that maybe righjt now you need to take any job you can, even if there's no chance of advancement. If only to keep the bills paid. Without trying to sound condescending, you're still young, so you have plenty of time to find a career.
Like I said, I wish I could offer you some brilliant advice.
I'm convinced you came into my work to hand in a resume a while back...but I'm not sure...
I thought you were from Toronto - so I don't think it WAS you - but if not - you have a twin. Could it have been you?
It could have possibly been me since I live near Stoney Creek. Where do you... Read More
Okay neighbors from the North. In one week I'm travelling to Dorset, specifically Lake Kawagama for days on end of mountain biking. What else is there to do? If nothing, I'll just keep pedaling.
