yeah, headaches suck. What did they prescribe for you? I currently have a prescription of Midrin because my headaches don't always become full-blown migraines and seem to be associated with tightness in my neck, but it doesn't seem to do anything for any of them. I have a sampe of Imitrex to use for the next bad one. One of the girls with whom I work takes Imitrex for migraines as well. It does wonders for her, although she usually has to take a break for an hour or so after taking because she sometimes feels yucky afterwards and it can take a little while to kick in.
