How I like to spend my days off! (No, the camera isn't mounted to my bike, but you can see me traipsing around in my geared-up awesomeness.) Edit - I am not responsible for the bad music!

Yey for a good twisty ride! Haven't been able to go lately, what with the weather being as sodden as it's been. I will commute in rain (and...

Have you read your messages about the Secret Santa?
edmark:
what's up chick! Hope you enjoyed the De/Vision show! by the way, you have seriously good taste in music. Did you see IAMX at Bottom of the Hill in November? I was at the show and it blew my mind. Chris Corner is my current god.

Umm, update:

I should have all my bike parts by this weekend, at an approximate cost of $460. Could be worse. All the work led me to fix my wishlist, and take off many of the things that I don't need in favor of tools that actually can help. I'm getting sick of going "Goddammit, I need that!"

Can't wait till my girl is all...

Any word on the Job?
bikerben:
Good luck (err I think) with those interviews, I only hesitate coz some of the kids I work with come from care / foster homes and I know what a messed up situation they live in. Having been to numerous hostels / homes / residential homes I can quite safely say that I'm glad I grew up where I did - thanx Mr & Mrs Ben wink

On a completely different note, it seems funny that you call a bike a 'she' when I'd imagin that 'he' would be right - in an opposite gender-y kinda way whatever

Hint of the day on tools - buy decent kit, as cheap shit tools often break real fast and nearly always result in you twatting your fingers eeek eeek mad mad

Hope I made some sense - I'm very drunk biggrin

It's been a long few weeks; a long few months, really, I guess.

Many of you remember that my grandfather passed away two months ago, and my great-aunt this past Monday. It's tough; I live three thousand miles from those parts of my family, so I can't be there for funerals or to talk to the survivors.

Between that and my motorcycle crash last week...

Edit: I was already feeling down. And then I just found out that my great-aunt Shula passed away.

She survived Auschwitz. The last time I saw her she asked why I wasn't married yet.

I'm pretty dead right now.

Hey I'm back I hope you are feeling better. Grief sucks. How a person deals with the death of a loved one is intensely personal. Thank you for sharing.

We're here for you honey. Remember, everything passes.

Motorcyclist almost live at starbucks.. it's true. We're all posers at heart tongue
koleeta:
Um, I totally fail because I didn't call you to hang out while I was up there. But if it makes you feel any better, I probably would have had more fun hanging out with you than I actually did do.

I keep thinking riding a motorcycle would be awesome and that I should do it. I have a hard enough time riding my bike though. Somehow I always manage to injure myself when on my bike and I'm thinking something with a motor that reaches speeds of 60+ MPH is probably not going to be any better for me.

I need to update this thing. I never do anymore.

I'm now a phonesex actress. I assume that sooner or later I won't wake up my roommate by laughing hysterically after I hang up the phone. "You want to rub what where ? "Yes, I'm a 21 year old naughty girl who sleeps with my roommates and fucked my 30 year old English teacher when...

Dammit. Tried to repost something.

Anyway. Mattress! Woo! I'm never leaving it. I know I've said it before, but y'all can just come visit me in it.

I love my house.

Cordelia has a rejected set that you should check out. I was making faces at her from behind the photographer, MissPropaganda. I had promised to flash her, but ended up reneging. Next time!...

Cool. The Aerostitch catalog is my favorite dangerous vice. They put on some wicked awesome tours too, in places like Japan, Chile, Alaska, the Italian Alps, etc etc.- expensive as hell but intriguing. My favorite inexpensive items are the lighter weight wind triangle and the add-on heated grip overlays. Once you get 'em you'll wonder how you did without 'em.

Glad you're having fun with it.

I need to start a collection to fund getting an actual mattress. Buy set prints from me or something. Or organs.

Cause this inflatable air mattress thing? Not so fun.

Neither is it being "double." I'm 5'3" and can't fit.

ARRR!!!

Um. I have a denim jacket. But, it's dark blue and I only wear it over hoodies with track pants when I run errands. Can I still be your friend?
