i read it before i when out and couldn't stop thinking about it. i guess i still had it on my mind got home.

this is my favourite quote, taken out of context it doesn't seem like much but it really struck me. i think because it sums up his style in away. he took something like a blood splatter and made it poetry. just like took the visceral act of seppuku and made it beautiful.

so there is an anti racism group in lafayette, and i've never found time to attend. tonight caused me to look at a different angle on poverty, race, class, and the plight of the downtrodden. read my journal.
