I have had a great week so far! Sunday I cooked dinner for some friends. We ate like pigs, drank a bunch of beer, then played some cards into the night! Very fun!

Good to hear all was well. I was thinking about what you said about feelings like you described, some of us are more sensitive than others to such things. Maybe it is our subconscious percolating up to the surface that causes such feelings to immerge.
We tend to hide away all thoughts that are uncomfortable and when one makes its way out to the conscious we become unnerved by the starkness of our thoughts and maybe this is what happens.
It is good that nothing bad happened and I know that a letter is one of the nicest forms of communication that is sadly being replaced by this electronic shadow of its predecessor.
On the subject of how I am, well ok I guess I am a little tired and need a break but will be staying out here until it is safe to travel through the country. We are 400 Km from the nearest town and it is still under curfew with troops on the street and no services.
I will probably leave via a different route on the 22nd or 24th of Sep.
