been listening to The Chieftan's San Patricio, a collaboration between the Irish group and Latin American artists honoring the brave boys who deserted from the US side to the Mexican side in the war where we took New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona and California from Mexico.
The Irish saw us as being like the Brits--A country of Protestant industrialists and imperialists looking to seize control of a country of poor Catholic farmers
also a little Dwight Yoakum, but I have less control as my ipod is fritzin
