So, going to work at a club this weekend to try and make some money. I hate to do it, but sometimes you just have to. There are bills to be paid and they certainly don't pay themselves. Right? (Or do they? and if they do you must teach me this magic!)

I still haven't seen any photos of myself from the show the other...

I try and put enough time in my S.G. community and then its back working more than one job. I have been busy since October has begun. Its like I cant catch that much a break, but I pace with haste. How is everything at the Ink Parlor? Is the Rex complete? More work, I was enjoying your work you shared. It is complex to find clothes, so Im with you there, and when I do manage to find something I like, it doesnt fit or if I get it taken in some, it doesnt quirk with my figure. So, I just roll around in my usual clothes. I hope work will be brisk and fast for you so that you can try and enjoy your weekend ahead. Not sure why you didnt see any pictures up from your show, it looks like you rocked that out! <3 <3

OMG about to homeless again. Trying to figure out how to come up with enough money to get an apartment but it seems impossible. Anyone have any brilliant ideas that don't involve prostitution?

Oh, this is upsetting to read this </3

Inking business is a little slower than usual right now, and its a tough business. Every shop and location is different but when things are slow for me, its important to generate enough clients as you can. My clients are my family and making a bond with them is a good thing. Once your at the parlor for a while and with your status you should without a doubt start drawing in clients. I believe in you. What I do, is Ill contact my clients and see if they would like any touch ups on their free time, usually within the same week they actually show up most of the time. Then again, every one is different and I hope this will work in your favor. I also will do art work and sell them at a gallery if the shop is slowe, or sell them in our shop and those always sell rather well. I will some times show case or market outside of the shop and go to local places like the mall and start drawing in front of every one. People start to see what Im drawing and a little crowd will hoover over what I am doing.. and they will ask questions and such.. conversate... and then people will ask if I can draw their kids, family, and will pay in exchange of the drawing. Ill have a little kit with pastels, pencils.. etc.. Ill draw them and it makes me smile knowing they like what I drew out. I hear you on that when things have to be paid, and you must provide food on the table. Hard times these days. Other times, Ill just put myself out there and go give out shop shirts and for each free shirt they can come in and get a pericing for a price. Or, Ill find people and bring them to the shop to check it out, and they usually will purchase merchandise, get peircings. I hope any of these ideas can help out or give you something to work with. But, when times are slow and such, Ill go to the people and just be open and put myself out there as much as possible.

Going to light some special things for you right now<3

Blessings sending out to you!

New blog. Here I go again, this is two days in a row I've written something other than ugg or grrr. I must be feeling like my old self today.

I started reading a book I started writing last night and man, I was like "who wrote this? I need to know what happens next" but after three chapters there wasn't anything more. It made...

No pictures this post: which inevitably means not very many people will actually bother to read it ;P

Oh man, I went and did my laundry today and it was so HOT in the laundry mat that I thought I was going to die! I sweat buckets and it's not like I could go outside and get some air since it is just as hot...

I can't imagine having to put up with Florida humidity 24x7. eeek

Hope the new shop works out well.
dave_fl:
I've been in FL 36 years, you don't get used to the humidity. Once of the things I hate most is breaking into a sweat as soon as I get out of the shower. I wish I knew about your show in St. Pete, I live 20 mins away & would have loved to see it.
