You’re in Kiev... A few years ago we spent a week in Lviv. My wife’s in a choir, and this was a return visit after the Lviv choir (based in the University) visited Huddersfield. It was one of the most moving thing in my life. The mayor(?)/president of the region - he’d been second in command during the Orange Revolution - invited us twice to the Palace. It really was something to be there, a western female choir.
