Disgusting that they were convicted based on a coerced confession that didn't even match the details of the crime and on flimsy evidence that can't even be called circumstantial. I hadn't heard of the case until Amina mentioned it 2 or 3 years ago.
I understand the only reason they took the crappy Alford plea deal was to get the one guy off of death row.

I am sooo out of the loop, but I'm happy they're free. Ever since I've been enlightened to their case it's been... a mind trip, to say the least. The whole thing was fucked up, but at least these guys get a small piece of their life back to continue living in the world not constrained by bars.
