Took the train to this lovely city today just for the art museum, and it was totally worth it! The Kunstmuseum in Basel houses an enormous collection of surrealist work, from Man Ray to Max Ernst (one of my favorites) and of course, to Dali. They also have a very impressive collection of impressionist works and I was shocked at the number of truly expensive...

@theslowrunner I had never heard of it either! But whenever I relocate i research the art and architecture for that region. The art museum in Basel was really highly recommended by Google...haha

Sometimes you just have to go. I decided to come here three days ago. I hopped two trains and hitch hiked about 55 miles... German is my second language and it's much easier to get around in a country where I can speak with people.

Good question! I love this country. I'm actually a dual citizen, Swiss, but born and raise in the USA. I live in Biel and start working in the heart of Bern next week.
