But here I am in hot Mexico, where every day the grime seeps further into my skin. Its actually a nice city were in, a couple of museums and some culture. Its odd...

a radio station i listen to a lot recently played a recording of an interview they had done with Al-Bayati several years ago before his death. he seemed to be an incredibly passionate guy.

That's madame president to you. That's right, for some unknown reason I have been elected to be the president of the student body at school. If only they knew that I spent my free time looking at hot naked chicks....
It's still raining. The wind was blowing my car around the highway today, very scary. I had a nightmare two nights ago that my car...

Springtime in New England...the sun barely makes an appearance and the weather reaches a scorching high of 40 F with winds knocking down trees older than both of us put together. Wet. For days. For days to come still. Days like this I'm glad I have a fireplace. Glad that I'm a currently unemployed student with no where to go and nothing to do. Weather...

welcome to the site.

Went to see Star Wars Episode 3 last night, actually, dragged to it. I had planned on attempting to defy my geekiness and not see it, because the first two were so disappointing to me. But that didn't last long and before I knew it I was front and center in a sold out Saturday night show with some napoleon-complex asshole kicking the back of...

So what are you up to in Cozumel (other than diving)?
And what languages do you speak - that is severiously cool. (and hot)

i love Isabel Allende! I got to see her speak once and she is great. short but very feisty and quite funny. I had to attend of course since my former high school had been having a big debate while I was there and after I graduated on whether or not to ban House of the spirits. anyone knows that banning books just makes people want to read them more!
as for marquez, i've only read chronicle of a death foretold, short but excellent and try as i might, i never get around to finishing 100 years of solitude. perhaps I need that many years to finish- something always interrupts me though. its at the top of my summer reading list now though, esp. since I just graduated.

So two posts in two days, can you tell I'm excited to be here? I'm just thrilled to finally have access to all you gorgeous women - and sad that I'm leaving the country and won't have internet access for the next two months. I guess that's why I'm spending so much time on here now, I just need to get enough of a fix...
